Home Academy School is an English Medium, Co-educational school for both Boys and Girls conducted by the Managing Committee of the Children's Home Society affiliated to CBSE (New Delhi) andreserves to itself the right to run the school according to its norms.
Chief aims of the institution include trainingits students to become useful citizens of their Motherland as well as to form in them habits of piety, virtue, discipline and self-sufficiency. The moral and ethical stance of the school that is reflected in its teachings, perspectives and traditions is based on the Holy Bible and the example and teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Moral education classes are presented from this perspective and students are expected to take part in assemblies and classes without hesitation while the School recognizes that belief is a personal matter without coercion. By applying to the school, parents and guardians are accepting and agreeing to the same for their children and wards.
The medium of instruction is English and staff and students are expected to converse in English out of class while on campus. Hindi is also a compulsory subject.
Special attention is given to ensure a high standard of morality and discipline in the school. Guardians are requested to cooperate in this with the authorities of the school and by urging the regular attendance, performance of home tasks and punctuality of their wards. .
Periodic reports will keep parents & guardians informed of the progress of their children. These reports are to be signed by the parents and returned.
Students are answerable to the school authorities for their conduct in and outside the school. Hence misbehavior in public places and conveyances justifies dismissal, irregular attendance, habitual illness or idleness, objectionable moral behavior, conduct detrimental to the ordinary life of the school, continual failure to make satisfactory progress in studies and above all discourtesy, disrespect and disobedience to teachers and staff; and each is a sufficient cause for suspension or dismissal.
